I remember Barbara's tremendous enthusiasm for life. She was great fun to be around, whether it was as a sorority sister and fellow undergraduate at the U., or soon after, working as a social worker in Carleton County, or talking about meeting her future husband at an officer's dance in San Diego during the war in Vietnam, then marrying, beginning to have children and living in Bloomington. She just sparkled, and that enthusiastic sparkle was still there at our 50th reunion. She was quite a person. Judy Trolander
