The University Press of Florida published my book, From Sun Cities to The Villages: A History of Active Adult, Age Restricted Communities. It appeared in spring 2011. I retired in 2012 from teaching various kinds of U.S. social history, including women's history and urban history, at the University of Minnesota Duluth. For relaxation, I have property on Cokato Lake, about fifty miles west of Minneapolis. I have a Woodland Stewardship Plan and am trying to add to and improve the trees on the property. The deer have other ideas.
