Marrs, Judith Jean (nee Pollak) Age 69, of Mpls. Born 10-28-41, passed away 3-28-11 peacefully with family near. Preceded in death parents, Joseph and Mary; brothers, Peter, William, Robert and John; sisters Patricia Nelson, Rose Saastad and Helen Frost. Survived by husband of 49 years, Richard; children, Dianna Johnson (Greg), Michael (Nancy), Joseph (Shannon Drew), Jennifer Nelson (special friend Bill Davis); brother Joseph; sisters, Betty Krueger (Paul), Eleanor Bateman, Theresa Ream (special friend Tino Martinez) and many family, friends and neighbors. A grandmother's love to grandchildren, Ally, Noah, Clay, Callum, Teddy and Evy. To celebrate Judy's life, Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, 3-31-11 at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 7540 Penn Ave., Richfield. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Luncheon to follow. Private burial at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred. Judy enjoyed her life reading, gardening, sports, travels, and the outdoors. She was a caring person willing to help others. Her smile, singing and humming will be missed. In her memory do something nice with a friend or relative.
