Issenhuth, Marian (Oredson) (1942-2024) Marian Issenhuth, a devoted wife, cherished sister and Aunt, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her family and her faith. Marian's departure has left a void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever be etched in our minds. Born in 1942 to Joseph and Madaline Oredson, Marian was raised in Minneapolis alongside her beloved sisters, Darlyne and Carole, who preceded her in death. From a young age, Marian exhibited a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to serve others. She found her calling at the Veterans Administration, where she dedicated her entire career, tirelessly supporting and caring for those who had served their country. In 1966, Marian entered into a lifelong union of love and companionship with Edward Issenhuth, who became her rock and confidant. Together, they shared 57 beautiful years of marriage, marked by love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Marian was blessed to have a large circle of friends and neighbors and especially loved the hours spent at Sisters Sludge Coffee Shop. She was also an animal lover who cherished all their family dogs and supported animal causes throughout her life. She was an adored aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, who will forever cherish her kind words, gentle guidance, and warm hugs. Marian had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Marian was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Minneapolis, finding solace and strength in her faith. A funeral mass in honor of Marian's life will be held at Our Lady of Peace Church in Minneapolis on February 12th at 11 am, Rosary 10:30 am. Reception to follow. Family, friends, and all who knew her are invited to join in celebrating her remarkable journey and bidding her a heartfelt farewell. May her soul rest in eternal peace. It was Marian's wish that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
