James M. Miller

Graduated from St Thomas in 1964. Served in the Marine Reserve from 1965 thru 1971. Worked for the Dept. of Defense at Rock Islan Arsenal in Illinois, Watervaliet Arsenal in New York, Army Tank Command in Michigan. Negotiated DOD contracts at Control Data, Northern Ordnance and Honeywell from 1967 thru 1996 as financial analyst and contract administrator. Retired in 1998. Currently play trombone in South of the River Community Band. Do genealogy on my Hanley and Quinlan relatives. Part time lobbyist for federal employees since 1998.

Driving on the grass down Minnehaha Parkway. Playing in the band at games, pep rallies and the Aquentenial. Walking down 28th avenue to and from school. Giving a bogus explanation on how the atomic bomb works in Mr. Osterhus's class.
