Lindholm, Michael "Mike" age 80, died of pancreatic cancer at home in Estes Park, CO on August 1, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents Judith and Alfred and cousins Richard and Bobby Lindholm. Survived by wife of 42 years, Jean Lindholm and cousin Jiennie Lindholm. Also survived by cousins-in-law Linda and Nancy Lindholm and their children and grandchildren, and family friend, Vange Karakatsanis. Mike graduated from Roosevelt High School (1962) and the U of M (1966) and then served in the Army Medical Corp (67-68) in Viet Nam. He earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Iowa. Mike enjoyed his profession as a career probation and parole officer for the State of Minnesota and Hennepin County. Mike also enjoyed travel, sailing and creating stained glass art. He was always an advocate for social justice. Because he thought the Honor Flight to see memorials in Washington DC was the best experience of his life, he would prefer any donations be made to the High Plains Honor Flight PO Box 363 Ault, CO 80610. It's Tax deductible. A memorial gathering will be held on October 21 from 2 to 4pm in the social room at 6566 France Ave S in Edina.
