Linda lived in Golden Valley. She worked for the Hennepin County Library for many years. She enjoyed her family and doing things for her family and especially for her children and their friends.

Linda Trandem
Trandem, Linda was greeted by her Savior, Jesus Christ, along with her loved ones that have gone before her into heaven, on Wednesday, Oct 23, 2019. Linda was born in Minneapolis on September 21, 1942 to Clarence and Beatrice Kjona. They moved to the Kennedy/Alvarado area in 1945. Linda's father passed away in 1951, and it was then that her mother and 3 sisters moved back to Minneapolis. Linda graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1960. She married LeRoy Trandem on March 9th, 1963. Linda and LeRoy were married for 57 years. They lived all but 9 months of those years in Golden Valley, where they raised their three children. She is survived by her husband LeRoy, sisters LaVonne Stein and Beverly Johnson, kids Scott (Betty) Trandem and Lisa (Corey) Zahner, grandchildren Justin Zahner, James Trandem, and Aleia Zahner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Beatrice Kjona (Westman), her sister Mary Moren, and her beloved son Eric. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, with a memorial service at 3:00 pm. Service will be held at Washburn McReavy, Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN 55429.
