Charles J. Fishleigh....born April of 1942 to Kenneth and Suzanne, brother Gregory....survived by sister Barbra. Charles grew up in south Minneapolis adjacent to Minnehaha Falls, attended Nokomis junior High , Benild Highschool and Roosevelt. Charles was an outdoorsman, fisherman and big game hunter, motorcycle addict, inventor, mechanic , chef and a gentleman....with a wild side! Charles was also a classical music and opera buff...In the 60s when he invited you over to watch the untouchables with Budweiser and Pizza, if you arrived early you heard Verdi, Mendlesohn, or Mose Allison. Charles served in the U.S.Army as a tank commander @ Ft. Lewis Washington where he said it rained for two years straight. After leaving the Army He attended the U. of M. for a time and then went to work for "Public Works" city of Minneapolis. He spent his life in pursuit of his outdoor activities with "Bigger Boats" more comfortable Bikes n Trucks and ever more interesting people...Charles was a stand up guy like his favorite singer Frank Sinatra...and did it his way !He passed away 19 Oct. 2007 Charles was a life long freind of mine and I surly miss him.
