Thomas E. Donnelly

It's hard to believe that it has been 50 yrs since high school, but when I look at the gray hair on my head, I know time has flown by.

After High School I joined the Seabee's U.S. Construction Battalion. I was stationed in the Illusion Islands, Midway Island and Coronado, CA. After the Navy I came home to take over the family business of Donnelly Stucco. Selling stucco and working with home owners has always interested me, and we've worked on a lot of homes in the Twin Cites.

For several years, I also worked with the Department of State Foreign Building Office in Eastern Europe as a stucco contractor on U.S. Embassies and Consulates. I am especially proud of the work we did on the U.S. Consult in Leningrad, Russia.
I was on the Board of Directors and Chairman of International Committee of Portland Cement Stucco for eight years. Helped write many of the stucco and plastering standards. For over 45 yrs, I have been working with stucco, and it's been a lot of fun.

As much as I enjoyed my work, the most important part of my life is my family. My wife Muriel and I have been married over 43 yrs, and we have 5 children and 2 grand-children. They are the light of our world.
Weekends you'll usually find us at our camper in Waseca MN roughing it, with A/C and TV of course. The family joins us when they can. Both my wife and I are active in the Knights of Columbus. I am a past Grand Knight.
