Comments:

After graduating from college, we moved to VA where I taught for a couple of years. On returning to MN I was a stay at home mom for many years and loved it.
When the kids got older I bought a horse stable and we all showed horses for many years. We showed at the state fair for about 20 years.
In 1997 my husband got a transfer to Dusseldorf, Germany for a couple of years. We lived in the Altstadt "old town" on the Rhine River. We traveled on the week-ends and enjoyed the sights.
We love to travel and have seen so many amazing places around the world. No matter how much we see, there is still so much more out there.
We spend our winters in Rio Verde, AZ. It is great to get away from the cold a bit, but we miss the grandchildren who all live in the twin cities.
Lots of people from the class of 60 were in AZ this past winter and it was fun to see everyone and reconnect. The photo is at my house with some of the winter visitors. We were able to have lunch outside that day.
We celebrated a major anniversary this year with a trip to England, Scotland and Wales this fall. We had never been to Scotland and especially loved Edinburgh with it's beautiful old buildings. It was actually nice to be in a foreign country where we could "somewhat" understand the language.

We just got back from South America and had a wonderful time in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. We saw lots of beautiful sights and learned a lot about our neighbor to the south. And no it is not an extension of Mexico.
Our family just took a wonderful trip to The British Islands to spend a week sailing. Our daughter Amy and husband Jon are certified to sail a 48 ' boat so they reserved one for early April. Including them and Randy and I were daughter Lisa, husband Eric their three kids Ellie, Colby and Brady along with grandson Zach. We sailed new places each day and moored for the evening and took the dinghy in for dinner. Everyone had fun snorkeling, playing on the beach and jumping off the boat.
The only sad thing about the trip was that we lost our daughter Susan in January 2014, Zach's mother. She would have loved the trip. We are glad Zach could join us.
I was happy to move on after 2016 as Randy had heart issues that put him in the Mayo hospital for 2 weeks last August. Since then he has gradually improved until we took some trips we had planned for 2016 which looked like they might not happen. We went to the Virgin Islands again and sailed with our daughter and husband who have a sailboat there. Then we spent a week on Virgin Gorda and were happy to get away from MN cold for a while.

School Story:

I loved high school and felt that Roosevelt prepared me for the future. My closest friends are no longer with us which is sad.

Chuck was a nice and gentle soul.   He will be missed by his lovely wife and daughters. We went to the same church and our kids were friends growing up.

So many of my high school memories include Judy; always fun and a smile on her face.  We had lots of sleep overs at the cabin and my house.  Judy was a bridesmaid in my wedding.  Although over the years we did not see much of each other, I did think of her fondly.  Glad you are reunited with Lee!
