I was so happy I call John a couple hours before he passed. His daughter Katie held the phone to his ear and I promised him that I will thank him for every good tee off shot I had. John was one of those "good" guys, very gentle, patient and kind. We enjoyed playing golf weekly together. We started out as a four some with Dutch Fischer, David Ness and myself. After Dutch passed we filled in with some of our Roosevelt friends. I will miss my golfing buddy and my great friend. RIP my friend.
