DRESS for the Hilton event Saturday evening Sept 18 will be business casual.

REUNION BOOKs are still be available for classmates that didn't order them on their reservation form. To order a book now you can mail a request to Margaret Van Heel , 4100-46th Ave. So.  Minneapolis, Mn  55406 with a $20 check.  We will also be taking additional orders at the Hilton the evening of September 18.  Because the REUNION BOOKS will include pictures from the reunion events they will not be printed until late September and will be mailed out after that.

So far we have about 180 Bios submitted for the REUNION BOOKS.  If you haven't done so yet you can submit your Bio by going to REUNION BOOK BIOS on the left of this page or by filling in your Bio information in your Profile.

Several RHS TEACHERS from 1960 plan to attend the Hilton event on the 18th as our guests. Bill Knutson, Jim Thornton, Al Cannon and Jack Newton will be there. Be sure to greet them.

NEW EVENT ADDED--

Sunday, September 19, there will be an afternoon CLASS REUNION PICNIC at Nelson's Apple Farm located near Elko-New Market, about 18 miles south of Minneapolis. This event is chaired by classmates Ross Nelson and David Ness. Ross has generously offered to host this event and will wave, for classmates and their guests, the apple farm's normal $5 FUN FEE.

Timing will be from 2 PM to dusk, come and go as you would like. Bring your own picnic, beverages and lawn chairs. The Roosevelt group will have a reserved area. The apple farm has a number of activities or you can just visit with classmates. Some of Nelson's Apple Farm activities include wagon rides, apple picking, farm animals, duck pond and a corn maze.  There is also a store selling apple products. Bring your grandchildren if you like. David Ness will provide a fireworks display at dusk, conditions permitting.

RESERVATION FORMS for the reunion HILTON event on Saturday Sept 18th were mailed out over a month ago.  So far we have received 300+ paid reservations back. We wanted reservations with checks in by August 15 but it is not to late to still send them in if you do it right now. HURRY HURRY HURRY

If you did not get a form in the mail let us know and we will send one out or you can click on resform.pdf to view/print the reservation form.

If you plan to stay at the HILTON our special room rate of $89 requires that resevations with the  Hilton be made by Monday August 23 if you want that rate.
